This long route takes you from the village of Wisborough Green and over the hill at Bedham looping back through Hawkhurst court which was incidentally the headquarters of the Canadian army during WWII. The route is a mixture of open fields woodland trails though caution is recommended in a number of sections as it uses a number of quite country roads to join connecting footpaths.

This route brings us back to the Wey and Arun Junction Canal but this time heading away south though woodlands and fields past a number of mills along the river Arun which have been renovated to houses.

This is one of my favorite routes, the paths are good and the views are spectacular once you arrive on the top off the downs looking North into the Weald basin or South towards the coast where the sea can be seen (weather permitting).
