This Forestry Commission owned site is a great place for any ability,
the terrain varies greatly from wide open tracks, winding woodland trails and sandy inclines. This opens the area up for fun exploration with your dog and affords ample space for off-lead frolics in a number of streams and ponds.
Parking is easily accessible from Hammerpond Road though beware there is a height restriction on the gate. Leading out from the car park the main trail can be followed for a few Kilometres with many paths to either side. The Site is well signposted with a number of map boards dotted around.
