This is a lovely 7km route on and around the Dragon’s Green estate following trail and woodland paths to some open fields.

Parking can be found along Marlpost road though it is a popular spot for dog walkers. The route can get rather boggy in the winter months due to the clay on the trails but it well worth the effort. There are ample paths for off route exploration, there is water on route via streams and livestock water troughs though in the summer months would recommend as ever carrying your own. There is often sheep and horses in a number of the fields so normal precautions should be taken. Happy trails! AM
