This route brings us back to the Wey and Arun Junction Canal but this time heading away south though woodlands and fields past a number of mills along the river Arun which have been renovated to houses.
Parking to be found in the Way and Arun trust car park the route follows the canal and then winds it way south through some very untouched woodlands. There are a number of stiles which need to be negotiated and the route is easily flooded due to running through a number of floodplains so caution recommended during the winter months.
This route is a treat during the spring and summer given the bluebells and other flowers as well as the fields of corn and oil seed rape. There is some water via streams and ponds along the route but do consider the season as the route can be quite dry during the summer months.
