This 5.5km route has been a staple during the winter months given the tracks it utilises.
This route has ample parking in the Village hall and heads North East behind the Muntham House School. Turning off of this track towards Christs Hospital the trail takes you over the road and leads up to the top of Sharpenhurst Hill which offers great views of the South/North Downs.
Having taken your fill of the view the route leads down to a railway country crossing. Please take care crossing here, those that are unfamiliar with the crossing please ensure you are listening and looking at all times the crossing is on a bend so high caution is advised.
Once safely across the railway there are lots of options to extend the route further by joining the Downs link but our route runs parallel with the railway across open fields leading back to Barns Green and the car Park.
